INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
The ProEnviroment journal of research, information and professional training publishes peer-reviewed, original research, critical reviews or short communications in agriculture, and environment, food science & technology, human nutrition, animal science, with particular emphasis on interdisciplinary studies in the field of food, agricultural, and environmental interfaces. The journal considers manuscripts on biotechnology, ethical and socioeconomic issues related to modern agricultural or environmental sciences.
The journal offers advertisement space for special announcements and employment opportunities.
SUBMISSON OF PAPPERS
Kindly send us by email a short abstract of your manuscript. If your manuscript fits the scope of our journal, we will request to send your manuscript to two external reviewers. Once reviewed and improved, you may send via email (MS Word) your manuscript inclunding original prints of photos or graphs.
Please note that inadequately or incorrectly prepared manuscript will be rejected. Authors will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of their paper normally within 2 months, followed by a decision. Only accepted manuscripts will be published within a short period of time. The estimated period varies between 2 and 5 months.
The corresponding author must obtain the consent of all co-authors for the submission of the manuscript. Manuscript will only be accepted on the understanding that the contents have neither been published nor are being considered for publication elsewhere. The accepted manuscript or other contributions will be published in the Print and/or Online version of the journal. When the manuscript is accepted for publication, the author will be asked to assign full copyright.
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
Manuscript length should not normally exceed 20 pages, 1.5 line spacing, 12 fonts, including all relevant materials. The hard copy of the manuscript should be typed in 1.5 line spacing on one side of A4 paper with 2.5 cm wide left, right, top and bottom margins.
the use of italics should be restricted to genera and species name, and chemical descriptors (e.g. cis,trans etc) and journal and book titles. Do not underline any headings. Footnotes should be kept to a minimum and indicated by * or +.
Do not use full stops after abbreviations unless essential for clarity. Abbreviations of chemical and other names should be defined when first mentioned in the body of the paper, unless commonly used and internationally known and accepted. Use SI units in accord with the recommendations of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Use the form g kg-1 etc (not %) to specify content/composition/concentration. Use %, only to express proportional change. Avoid the use of g per 100g, for example in food/feed composition; instead use g kg-1. Fertilizer rates should be presented in terms of the element applied. Unusual symbols (including Greek lettering) should be defined in words in the left margin at the first mention, e. g. Myzus persicae (Sulzer). Identify each enzyme together with its EC number, if available, at the first mention, following the recommendations of the latest edition of Enzyme Nomenclature, and use the current systematic IUPAC nomenclature throughout.
Title should be bold and 14 fonts (e.g., Environmental pollutants….). Following 2 line space, the author (s) full name(s) (starting with name then family, 12 fonts, bold), then full address(es) where the work was done, and include tel/fax/e-mail addresses (if available)of the corresponding author in Italics. The main body of the paper should be divided into numbered sections (e.g., Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements and References). The abstract must be informative yet concise, and should not exceed 300 words. List no more than ten Key words. Refer to unpublished work only in the text (e.g. Popescu I.N. unpublished). Cite the references at the appropriate place in the text using numbers in order in which they appear and a full numerical list must appear in the Reference section, giving all authors with initials after the respective surname.
All tables and figures (drawings and photographs) should be in appropriate section of the text. Each table should have a concise self-explanatory title, and abbreviations used should be defined directly below the tables. Figures should be large enough to allow a potential 33% reduction in size. All legends to figures should be printed on the same sheet for each figure. Photographs, if used, should be of good contrast.

INSTRUCŢIUNI de redactare
ProEnviroment este o revistă de cercetare, informare şi formare profesională, care publică în urma unui process de peer-reviewing articole originale, recenzii sau scurte comunicări în domeniile: agricultură, mediu, ştiintă si tehnologie, alimentaţie, nutriţie umană, producţie animală, cu un accent în special pe studii interdisciplinare în domeniile agricultură, alimentaţie şi mediu. Revista ia în considerare şi manuscrise din domeniul biotehnologiilor, dar şi pe cele privitoare la probleme de etică şi socio-economice legate de stiinte moderne agricole sau de mediu. Revista ofera spatiu pentru publicitate, anunţuri şi oportunităţi de angajare.
DEPUNEREA DE ARTICOLE
Vă rugăm sa ne trimiteti prin e-mail un scurt rezumat al manuscrisului dumneavoastră. Dacă se potriveşte domeniului revistei noastre, puteţi să ne trimiteţi manuscrisul, care va fi supus unui proces de recenzie realizat de doi specialişti în domeniu. Odată ce va fi analizat, în urma eventualelor sugestii, puteţi trimite prin e-mail (MS Word) manuscrisul dumneavoastră împreună cu fotografiile sau graficele ce însoţesc textul.
Vă rugăm să reţineţi că manuscrisul pregătit inadecvat sau incorect va fi respins. Autorii vor primi o confirmare de primire a manuscrisului, în mod normal, în termen de 2 luni, urmate de o decizie. Numai manuscrisele acceptate vor fi publicate într-o perioadă scurtă de timp. Perioada estimată variază între 2 şi 5 luni.
Autorul trebuie să obţină acordul tuturor co-autorilor pentru prezentarea manuscrisului. Manuscrisul va fi acceptat doar dacă conţinutul lucrării nu a fost publicat şi nici nu este luat în considerare pentru publicare în altă parte. Manuscrisele acceptate sau alte contribuţii vor fi publicate în versiunea tipărită şi on-line a revistei. În cazul în care manuscrisul este acceptat pentru publicare, autorului i se va cere să îşi asume drepturile de autor.
PREGĂTIREA MANUSCRISULUI
Lungimea manuscrisului în mod normal nu ar trebui să depăşească 20 pagini, 1.5 spaţiere, font 12, incluzând toate materialele relevante. Formatule este A4, cu distanţa de 2.5 cm stânga, dreapta, susus şi jos. Utilizarea caracterului italic trebuie să se limiteze la numele de genuri şi specii, şi a descriptorilor chimici (de exemplu, cis, trans etc) precum şi pentru titluri le de reviste şi de carte. Nu subliniaţi titlurile. Notele din josul paginii trebuie să fie reduse la minimum şi indicate prin * sau +.
Nu utilizaţi puncte după abrevieri, cu excepţia cazului în care sunt esenţiale pentru claritate. Abrevierile utilizate pentru formule chimice şi alte nume ar trebui să fie definite când sunt menţionate pentru prima data în conţinut, cu excepţia cazului în care sunt frecvent utilizate şi internaţional cunoscute şi acceptate. Utilizaţi unităţile SI în conformitate cu recomandările Organizaţiei Internaţionale de Standardizare (ISO). Utilizaţi unităţile de măsură g kg-1, etc (nu %) pentru conţinut /compoziţie /concentraţie. Folosiţi %, doar pentru a exprima modificările de proporţie.Evitaţi utilizarea g pentru 100 g, de exemplu, în produsele alimentare /compoziţia de furaje; utilizaţi în schimb g-1/kg. Gradele de fertilizare trebuie să fie prezentate în termenii elementului aplicat. Simbolurile mai neobişnuite (inclusiv caractere greceşti) ar trebui să fie definite în margina stânga la prima menţiune, de exemplu Myzus persicae (Sulzer). Identificaţi fiecare enzimă împreună cu numărul ei EC, dacă este disponibil, de la prima mentiune, urmând recomandările de la ultima ediţie a Nomenclaturii Enzimelor, puteţi folosi şi nomenclatura IUPAC.
Titlul trebuie să fie îngroşat şi scrisul cu font de 14 (de exemplu, Poluanţi ai mediului ....). După spaţiu de 2 linii, se scriu autor (i) numele complet (începand cu numele de familie, scris îngroşat cu font de 12), apoi adresa completă, tel/fax/adresa de e-mail ale autorului pentru corespondenţă, în caractere italice. Textul lucrării trebuie să fie împărţit în titluri numerotate (de exemplu, Rezumat, Introducere, Materiale si metode, Rezultate si discutii, Concluzii, Mulţumiri şi Bibliografie). Rezumatul trebuie să fie informativ, concis şi nu trebuie să depăşească 300 de cuvinte. Cuvinetele cheie nu trebuie să fie mai mult de zece.
Lucrările nepublicate trebuie citate doar în text (de exemplu Popescu I.N.nepublicat). Citarea se face prin plasare la locul potrivit în text utilizând numerele aferente autorilor din bibliografie.
Toate tabelele şi figurile (desene şi fotografii) trebuie să fie plasate în secţiunea corespunzătoare textului. Fiecare tabel trebuie să aibă un titlu concis şi prescurtările utilizate ar trebui să fie explicate direct sub tabele. Figurile trebuie să fie suficient de mari pentru a permite un potential de 33% reducere în mărime. Toate legendele figurilor trebuie să fie tipărite pe aceeaşi foaie pentru fiecare figură. Fotografiile, dacă sunt folosite, trebuie să aibă un contrast bun.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
